LA brand, Brain Dead has quickly made a name for itself with its avant-garde, graphic-heavy approach to clothing and accessories. Now linking up with adidas for the second time this year, the duo present a collaborative and disruptive take on the legendary Stan Smith. Brain Dead defies fashion norms and retunes the silhouette with new colourways and mixed material uppers. Leather wraps the shoe in ‘Shadow Green’ contrasting the hairy suede blue heel tab. Frayed laces loop up to the co-branded tongue and the usual perforated 3-Stripes are switched out for the label’s head motif. Underfoot, a rubber outsole is accented with contrast stitching.
